講演内容
自閉という概念は、1910年にオイゲン・ブロイラーによって、統合失調症を特徴づける規定的特徴として精神医学に導入された。ところが1940年代になると、この概念は別の状態を記述するために借用されることになる。しかも、その状態の一特徴としてではなく、その名称そのものとして用いられるようになった。それが自閉症、のちに自閉スペクトラム症と呼ばれるものである。
その結果、統合失調症における自閉への注意は、臨床的意識のなかでしだいに薄れていった。このことは、鑑別診断上の混乱を生じさせ、治療にも影響を及ぼしている。
本講演では、統合失調症のうちで自閉概念を形成してきた現象学的精神病理学の古典的研究を取り上げる。そのうえで、これらの研究から得られる洞察を総合し、統合失調症における自閉とは、生世界の脆弱な構成およびその生世界への脆弱な住み込みとして理解できることを論じる。さらに、この生世界の脆弱な構成は、自己の脆弱な構成と内的に結びついていることを明らかにする。
講師紹介
マッツ・グラム・ヘンリクセン氏は、コペンハーゲン大学コミュニケーション学科・主観性研究センターの臨床・理論現象学教授であり、また、大学病院中央・西部シェラン病院・東部精神医学部門の上級研究員である。ヘンリクセン氏の研究は、現象学と精神病理学の交差領域に位置している。これまでに、学術雑誌掲載論文69篇、書籍所収論文18篇を公刊している。

Abstract
The concept of autism was introduced into psychiatry by Eugen Bleuler in 1910 as a defining feature of schizophrenia. In the 1940s, the concept was borrowed to describe another condition, not as a feature of it but as its very name: autism, later autism spectrum disorder.
Consequently, awareness of autism in schizophrenia gradually faded from clinical awareness, bringing about differential diagnostic confusion with implications for treatment.
In this paper, I present some of the seminal work in phenomenological psychopathology that shaped the concept of autism in schizophrenia. Synthesizing insights from this body of work, I will argue that autism in schizophrenia can be understood as a frail constitution of, and indwelling in, the life-world that is intrinsically linked with a frail constitution of the self.

Mads Gram Henriksen, MA, PhD, DMSc, is Professor of Clinical and Theoretical Phenomenology at Center for Subjectivity Research, Department of Communication, University of Copenhagen, and Senior Researcher at Psychiatry East, Central and Western Zealand Hospital, University Hospital of Copenhagen. Henriksen’s research takes place in the interface between phenomenology and psychopathology. He has published 69 journal articles and 18 book chapters.
